There is nothing peaceful about this transition.

If I hear one more liberal politician talk about how this is a peaceful transition of power I will scream.

What is peaceful about unleashing the dogs of ICE on millions of immigrants?

Trump has announced he does not even recognize the sanctuary status of churches, mosques and synagogues.

Nowhere is safe from his call for mass deportations.

This is not peace, no matter what the liberals say.

In my last post I wrote about Trump’s roll back of the limited efforts of the Biden administration when it comes to healthcare.

Trump rescinded on day one a Biden administration effort aimed to explore new health care payment models that would lower prescription costs for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.

Trump rescinded former President Biden’s Executive Order 14087, “Lowering Prescription Drug Costs for Americans.” He included this directive among those he deemed to be “unpopular, inflationary, illegal, and radical practices.”

Rolling back efforts to cut drug costs for seniors will mean people will die.

Not peacefully.

Day one was an opening salvo of 46 executive actions aimed at our people.

How peaceful is it that Trump issued a sweeping executive order revoking decades of diversity and affirmative action practices in federal government?

In one second the man reversed fifty years of federal civil rights rules and regulations our movement fought hard for.

Or that Trump issued an executive order titled “Putting America First In International Environmental Agreements,” which effectively withdraws the U.S. from the landmark Paris Agreement that focuses on reducing countries’ carbon emissions.

It also orders the withdrawal of the U.S. from any other international climate pacts as well as any financial commitments the U.S. made to the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change, and it immediately revokes the U.S. International Climate Finance Plan.

It is Trump’s war on the planet.
