Posting from the hell hole. What if god was one of us?
If I had a god it wouldn't be a got of war.

The first time I every heard of Republican gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey was when he sued to stop masking in schools.
“What an asshole,” I said to myself.
I have been proven right.
The courts ruled in his favor although the Illinois legislature threw him out of the chamber for refusing to wear a mask.
Bailey will not be our next governor.
He thinks he can win by running against Chicago.
It won’t work.
Bailey is a MAGA Trumper and Illinois is not MAGA Trumper state.
That shit may work for him in that racist cult that is the Republican Party, but Illinois is deep blue.
I know. Sometimes we elect a Republican governor like Bruce Rauner but that was only because the Democrats nominated Pat Quinn. Thousands of retired workers on a public pension voted Democratic and left the gubernatorial line blank because they would not vote for that pension thief.
Me included.
Bailey has been calling Chicago a hell hole in what is clearly a racist dog whistle.
It reminded me of when Trump called Haiti and African countries shit holes.
Chicago has a bunch of problems.
None of them does Darren Bailey give a crap about.
Bailey is just a two-bit insurrectionist who was two chicken shit to actually go to DC on January 6th.
So he hangs with those who did.
There was the Bailey supporter, Larry Ligas, who for a time was showcased in the campaign web site. Ligas was charged with disorderly conduct and demonstrating at the Capitol on Jan. 6.
And David Paul Blumenshine, a "stop-the-steal" activist, was enlisted by Bailey's campaign to focus on "election integrity."
In the latest encounters, Bailey appeared on stage during a service with Pastor Brian Phillips at the Grove Fellowship in Poplar Grove, according to Schutz.
“We have officially worshiped with you as much as we’ve worshiped at our home church,” Bailey told Phillips in front of his congregation.
Bailey also has campaigned with Rockford-area Pastor Steve Cassell, who was at the Trump rally with Phillips.
On Sunday, Bailey was apparently unfazed by the screen behind the pulpit that featured an Old Testament phrase: “The Lord is a Man of War.” And next to it, reports Schutz, was a symbol of “The Punisher” — a Marvel Comics character that has been appropriated by far-right militia groups like the Proud Boys. Hey Fred. Thanks for posting a link to Joan Osborne doing that tune. Indeed, what if He was one of us. That was what I was taught, growing up. That we'd better treat others as if they just might be.
