Last exit to Brooklyn after a three-day road trip. Biden and Trump.

While on the road we learned that the closing on our house went just as expected.
We are not officially Brooklynites (Brooklynists?) until we move into our apartment and get our New York state drivers’ licenses.
But our furniture hasn’t even left Chicago we were told. That could take two weeks. And our new place isn’t ready for it anyway.
Even though we are still on probation as residents of the borough I get to celebrate my 76tth birthday in two weeks with a concert by the New York Philharmonic and fire works in my neighborhood’s Prospect Park. Thousands are expected to join me to welcome my next trip around the sun.
Pretty great.
Meanwhile I am checking out the latest polls that show little movement in the wake of Trump’s felony convictions.
This does not surprise me since if voters don’t have a pretty clear idea of who and what Trump is by now they never will.
This news will be devastating to the clueless leaders of the Democratic Party.
Their election strategy consisted of two ideas.
(1) A portion of MAGA voters will be shocked to learn that Trump is an anti-democratic fascist and will now turn on him because he is now felonious.
(2) Biden mustl fight for MAGA votes by being more MAGA than Trump.
Biden’s shutting down of the Mexico-U.S. border to even legal asylum seekers is the latest example of that.
You would think Dem bosses would have learned by now.
(1) Nobody doesn’t already know what Trump is. He is the most known of politicians of the modern era. There are no surprises left. The hush money convictions don’t change that fact.
(2) You can’t beat him by being more Trump than Trump.
In spite of all the evidence, it appears that the Biden campaign disagrees.
As a result it’s Trumps race to lose.
