AIPAC, GOP mega-donors and Hillary Clinton. What a team!

I didn’t need to move to Brooklyn to know how centrist Democrats like Hillary Clinton can find common ground with MAGA billionaires and Israeli lobbyists.
Hillary has always been the face of pro-war Democrats.
The American Israel Public Affairs Council (AIPAC) is the largest and wealthiest pro-Israel lobbying group in the country.
They fund the campaigns of both Republicans and Democrats as long as those candidates swear to supplying Israel with all the investments and bombs Israel demands.
AIPAC is also the major conduit for Republican money in Democratic primary campaigns.
It can be no surprise then that Hillary has joined up with GOP mega-donors in going after progressive Democrats who support a ceasefire and oppose military support for Israeli aggression against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
This week, Hillary endorsed the pro-war congressional candidate George Latimer against incumbent Congressman Jamal Bowman, an anti-war progressive often allied with The Squad.
Bowman’s 16th district includes a small portion of the northern Bronx and the southern half of Westchester County, including the suburban cities of White Plains, Mount Vernon, Yonkers, New Rochelle, and Rye.
In an interview last month with MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough asked Clinton her reaction to what he called “radicalism on college campuses,” and protesters “funded by Qatar.”
“I have had many conversations, as you have had, with a lot of young people over the last many months now,” Clinton said. “And you're right: They don't know very much at all about the history of the Middle East or, frankly, about history in many areas of the world, including in our own country.”
If you are one of the “lot(s) of young people” Hillary has had “many conversations” with, please contact me.
Because I don’t believe she has had any.
As I say, the Hillary/AIPAC alliance includes a large number of Republican/MAGA donors.
A Politico analysis released finds that nearly half — 46 percent — of AIPAC donations to Democratic candidates this year have come from donors who have given to Republican causes or candidates since 2020. This is staggeringly high compared to 2 percent of donations to Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue coming from those who have recently given to Republicans, the analysis found.
