18 Illinois legislators call for middle east de-escalation and justice for Palestinians.

18 Illinois state legislators issues a statement yesterday calling for de-escalation and “solutions that end the inequality (of Palestinians) that is at the root cause of the violence.”

Not among the 18 legislators signing the statement was my own state representative, Will Guzzardi.

Guzzardi was elected as a progressive and I worked on his campaign.

So, it’s a disappointment.

Kudos to the 18 legislators. No doubt they will be the targets of AIPAC and other pro-Zionist political action groups.

They should be supported and encouraged.
